The Quad socket R1 (LGA 2011) is capable of supporting the Intel® Xeon® processor E7-8800 v4/v3, E7-4800 v4/v3 family with up to 24 cores.
It can handle up to 6TB of memory, boasting 96 DIMM slots that support DDR3 1600MHz ECC RDIMMs and LRDIMMs.
The server is equipped with up to 11 PCI-E 3.0 slots, including 4 x16 slots and 7 x8 slots.
The server is fitted with 24x hot-swappable SAS2/SATA3 HDD bays, all with 3.5" form factors.
