The Huawei Tecal ES3000 is a family of full-height half-length enterprise application accelerators with MLC NAND storage capacity up to 2.4TB and a PCIe interface (2.0 x8). The Huawei cards appear to be comparable to many other goods on the market at first glance, but a closer examination reveals a unique triple controller design that combines two PCBs to provide an amazing offering. This equates to a maximum read bandwidth of 3.2GB/s and a write bandwidth of 2.8GB/s at the top of the performance curve. All three capacities have a drive latency of 49s and a write delay of 8s. The cards also offer a variety of additional features, such as better error checking, power fail prevention, and mechanisms that increase card endurance over time.
